The Forum home in your Dashboard is your side of the community forum in one place: what you asked, what you answered, what it earned you and what you follow. Reading questions and asking happen on the website; every post here opens there in a new tab.
Forum → Forum home in the Dashboard sidebar (/dashboard/forum). It shows the profile you are acting as: each
of your profiles has its own forum card, reputation and badges. Ask the community (top right) opens the question
form on the website.
Your forum card
Section titled “Your forum card”The card shows your name and handle, Member since, your reputation, and your counts: questions, answers, accepted answers and how many pets your answers worked for.
What your reputation unlocks is the privilege ladder: Votes that earn reputation (15), Comment anywhere (50), Post links (125), Vote down (125), More than 3 links in a post (500), Edit others’ posts (2,000) and Vote to close (3,000). Voting up is open to everyone, so it is not a step. Unlocked steps are ticked, the next one shows a progress bar and a line like 17 more reputation points to unlock Comment anywhere. If your forum account is suspended, the card says so (and until when). You can still read and follow, but not post.
Did it work?
Section titled “Did it work?”A week after you accept an answer, the question appears in a Did it work? card: You accepted these answers a week ago. Tell the next pet parent whether they helped. Choose It worked, Partly or It didn’t work for each. The answer then shows your result to every reader. (You can answer the same question on the post itself any time after accepting.)
The tabs
Section titled “The tabs”| Tab | What it lists |

Each post opens on the forum in a new tab.
What you follow
Section titled “What you follow”The What you follow card groups what you follow under Topics, Groups, Tags and Questions, with Unfollow next to each. To follow something new, use Follow on the forum.
Badges
Section titled “Badges”The Badges card lists the badges you have earned with their date, coloured gold, silver or bronze. Your first question or answer earns one. The full list is in Reputation and badges.
Your groups
Section titled “Your groups”Forum → My groups lists the groups you own, moderate, belong to or asked to join, and is where you create a new one. See Running a forum group.
