Finding your way around the store
The store’s front page is a grid of cards, the way a big general store lays out its front page: each card has a heading, four things to tap, and one link at the bottom that takes you further. Nothing on the page is an advert — every picture is a product you can buy today, and every price is the price you would pay for the thing in the picture.
The title strip
Section titled “The title strip”The one line above the cards tells you two things that apply to the whole page: the shipping note (singles ship free in the US and Canada) and the currency the prices are in. The currency follows the Deliver to place in the toolbar — see Prices and markets for how that is chosen and how to change it.
The cards
Section titled “The cards”Shop by Category shows the four biggest categories with how many products each holds. Tap a picture to open that category. When the store has more than four categories, the rest sit in a More categories card further down. Browse all products opens the full listing with filters.
For Pet Parents shows things bought one at a time for one pet — a tag, a record book, an identity kit — one from each category, at the price of the single.
For Breeders shows products that come in packs, each at its deepest pack: the caption reads like 100-Pack · $5.75 each, which is what one unit costs when you buy that many. Tap a tile and the product page opens with that pack already selected.
For Groomers shows grooming supplies and tools, cheapest first.
Each of these cards can also open with products United Pet Club has hand-picked for that audience; the AquaPulse hydro-massage nozzle, for example, appears for pet parents, breeders and groomers.
The store, its categories, its menu and search include products and services from every seller on the platform, not only United Pet Club’s own range; products United Pet Club recommends are listed first.
For Veterinarians gathers what a clinic orders: custom-printed record books (priced by quote — see Ordering in bulk), microchips and implanters, and record books.
Featured & Listed is the whole shelf as a carousel; use the arrows or swipe.
Pick Your Cover shows four of the record book’s cover colours; See all colours opens the book with every colour to choose from.
Buy in packs, pay less per unit lists the pack sizes of the product with the deepest ladder, with the total and the per-unit price for each rung.
Recently Viewed appears once you have looked at a product. It is kept in your own browser only — nothing about what you looked at is sent anywhere — and the Continue Browsing chips above it are the categories those products were in.
Products you buy on Amazon
Section titled “Products you buy on Amazon”A few products in the store are sold by Amazon rather than by us. Their product page has a Buy on Amazon button instead of Add to cart: it opens the product on Amazon in a new tab, and you buy it there — Amazon’s checkout, delivery and returns apply.
- The price is Amazon’s, with the time it was checked. It is never more than a day old, and the price on Amazon’s page is the one you pay. If it could not be checked recently, the page says See the current price on Amazon rather than showing an old figure.
- You get the Amazon site for your country — amazon.ca in Canada, amazon.com in the United States and anywhere we do not have a local Amazon site — in that site’s currency.
- We earn a commission when you buy through the button, at no extra cost to you.
- These products never go into your cart, and the price filters on category pages only cover what you can buy here.
- The photo may be Amazon’s own, shown straight from Amazon.
Item codes
Section titled “Item codes”Every product and every variant (colour, language, pack size) has an item code — ten
letters and digits like J57P6LDPMZ. You will find it as the first line of Item details on
the product page, and it is in the page’s address:
unitedpetclub.com/en-US/store/J57P6LDPMZ/pet-passport-and-vaccination-record-bookThe code is what identifies the product; the words after it are only there to be readable. Two things follow from that:
- Type a code into the store search box and you go straight to that product — with the
exact variant selected if it was a variant’s code (the one printed on your invoice or order
confirmation). The full form with the
UPC-prefix works too, in any case. - A short link works.
unitedpetclub.com/en-US/store/J57P6LDPMZforwards to the full product page, so the code alone is enough to share or to quote to support.
On a phone
Section titled “On a phone”The same cards stack in one column, in the same order, and the carousels swipe sideways. The Deliver to control moves to its own row under the search box.
