Pro plan and add-ons

United Pet Club’s software is free for service businesses. You pay a small Commission on each booking (see Fees) — or you switch to Pro and pay a fixed monthly bill instead of the Commission on your service bookings. Both are on Finances → Add-ons in the Dashboard.

  • $199 a month for your first unit, $119 a month for each additional one. A unit is each storefront location and each mobile vehicle of your business. Annual costs ten months.
  • No Commission on service bookings for every location and vehicle while Pro is active. Classes keep their Commission (7% in person, 17% online, per enrolment): Pro covers service bookings only. The Platform Processing Fee on card payments and the Stripe Payout Fees on each payout are the same as on the free plan.
  • Included: everything in Partner (status, campaigns, lead tracking), the Assisted support plan (see Help & support), a hosted website and a custom domain for each location, 5,000 campaign emails a month per unit, 1,500 days of client history, segments, loyalty, client import, detailed analytics and Audience Insights Pro. Kennels and catteries also get six Litter Passes a year — registering a litter is free for everyone; a pass is for a litter you sell (Litters and the Litter Pass).

All prices on this page are in US dollars, in every country, Canada included, and you are charged in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge.

Add a location or a vehicle and your bill is re-rated: the new amount starts at your next renewal and the difference for the rest of the current month (or year) is added to — or credited against — that renewal. Remove one and the same happens in reverse. Locations are picked up automatically; after you add or remove a vehicle, press Recount units on the Add-ons page (we also recount every night).

The Add-ons page shows what you paid in platform fees last month next to what Pro would cost for your units (You paid … in platform fees last month — Pro would have been ….). When fees are higher, the card suggests the switch. If much of your income is classes, remember that Pro doesn’t remove their Commission.

Add-ons are the features that cost us real money to run. They are priced the same whether or not you are on Pro, and buying one never changes your Commission.

Some of these prices are still marked “(draft)” while we finalise them.

Two more things any profile can buy on their own, priced on the public pricing page:

  • Contract packs: 10, 20 or 50 contract credits, one per contract you create, lasting 24 months (Contracts and contract packs).
  • Audience Insights Pro: who visits your pages, sold by the year only and made for business and organization profiles (Audience Insights).

Storage is an add-on for every profile, not only businesses: every profile has 200 MB free, and 25 GB ($8 a month) or 100 GB ($20 a month) add to it. See Storage space.

Route optimization is bought in units, one per van: switch it on for the vans that should use it under Schedule → Staff & vehicles. Each of those vans gets a day plan (its visits in the shortest driving order that keeps every visit on time, with road drive times) and zone days (the areas it works on each day of the week). The road-time service behind it is included in the $49; see Schedule: day plans and zone days.

The Partner API is not an add-on: it’s free. It lets booking apps, website plugins and AI assistants you choose work with your bookings, as long as your business keeps a valid payment card on file (see Connected apps).

Text credits pay for the texts your business sends to clients about their appointments, by SMS or WhatsApp. One credit is one text, however long the message. They are not for marketing, because campaigns send e-mail only.

PackPricePer textThe credits last
100 credits$1010¢6 months after purchase
1,000 credits$909¢12 months after purchase

When a text uses a credit. An appointment includes up to three texts (the confirmation, the reminder the day before, and “on my way” or “ready for pick-up”) when:

  • the client paid online through United Pet Club: a deposit paid online is enough, or
  • your business is on Pro, or
  • your business is a Partner in good standing (no platform fees past due, no unpaid dispute fee, no open issue such as spam or abuse, not suspended or under review; see Your standing).

Otherwise the booking is treated as paid in cash, and every text uses a credit, from the first one. A fourth text on a paid-online booking, such as a second “running late”, also uses a credit. It is decided at the moment each text is sent: if the client pays online later, the next texts are included. E-mail and app notifications are always free. See Schedule: text reminders.

How packs are used. Each pack keeps its own expiry date. The credits that expire soonest are used first, so a new pack never gets used while an older one runs out. Unused credits expire at the end of their pack’s term, with no refund. We e-mail you and show a notification 30 days and 7 days before a pack with credits left expires. Credits you bought before 30 September 2026, when a pack was 500 credits that never expired, keep no expiry and are used after your expiring packs.

To buy, open Finances → Add-ons. Text messages lists both packs, each with how long it lasts and its own Buy button.

Credit balances. The Add-ons page lists what you have left on each counted feature. Monthly allowances (for example Pro’s campaign emails) reset on the first of the month; packs you bought are used after the monthly allowance. Under Text credit packs each pack you bought shows what is left and when it expires (“57 left · expires Mar 30, 2027”), with an Expires soon badge in its last 30 days.

Unpaid fees. If your platform fees are unpaid, your purchased add-ons pause until they are settled. Your free features and your Pro or Partner benefits keep working.

On Pro, a campaign that needs more emails than your monthly allowance and packs still hold can be sent anyway: you press Send anyway on that campaign (see Email campaigns), and the extra emails are billed with your plan instead of stopping the campaign. You confirm it for each campaign; nothing is added to your bill on its own.

Price. The same as the campaign email pack, counted per email: US$2 per 1,000. The dialog shows the amount before you confirm.

When it is charged.

  • Monthly Pro: the extra emails are added to your next monthly bill. It stays one charge to your card — your plan plus the emails — on your renewal date.
  • Yearly Pro: each month’s extra emails are charged at the end of that month, once they come to $10 or more. Smaller amounts wait for the next month, and what is left at your yearly renewal goes on that bill. If a monthly charge is declined, it is tried again the next day, up to three times, and then moves to your renewal bill.

Taking emails back. Cancel a campaign before it starts sending and its extra emails come off your bill. If they were already billed, the amount is credited on your next bill.

When Pro ends. Extra emails not yet billed are charged once, to the card on your plan. If that charge fails, or no card is left on the plan, the amount is written off — and Send anyway is turned off for your business from then on. Packs keep working. Send anyway is also unavailable while your plan’s payment is overdue.

Refunds. Refunding a plan payment returns the plan’s price, not the emails that were already sent with it. See Refunds.

Finances → Add-ons shows a Billed with your plan card once you have used Send anyway (or could):

  • This period: how many extra emails you have sent since your last bill, about what they will cost, and the date they will be billed — or “Nothing past your allowance this period.”
  • Your recent usage bills, one line per bill (“2,300 e-mails, Aug 21 to Sep 21”), with the amount and a status:

Everyone is paid out weekly by default, on Fridays, once the balance reaches $50; you can also pick monthly payouts or request a payout at any time under Payout settings. Every payout carries the Stripe Payout Fees (0.25% + $0.25 per payout, plus $2.00 in each month with a payout), on Pro too.

With the instant payouts add-on you can press Pay out now on the Add-ons page to send your instant-eligible balance to your debit card or bank, usually within 30 minutes, or choose Daily under Payout settings. You see the instant payout fee, the Stripe Payout Fees and where the money goes before you confirm, and daily payouts go back to weekly by themselves if the add-on ends or is paused. Without the add-on the card says Instant and daily payouts need the instant-payout add-on. The details: When the money reaches your bank.
