Search United Pet Club
The search box at the top of every page looks across United Pet Club at once: animals, member accounts (kennels, veterinarians, groomers and other professionals) and articles. You do not need an account to search.
Type what you know — a pet’s name, a kennel, a breed, a city — and press Search. Two characters are enough to start.
Reading the results
Section titled “Reading the results”Results open on For You, a single feed that mixes everything that matched. Each result shows a photo, the name, and the line that tells you what you are looking at — the breed for an animal, the @handle for an account, the category for an article — plus a short description, such as an animal’s registered name and birth year or an account’s specialty.
Use the tabs above the results to narrow to Animals, Accounts or Articles; the number on each tab says how many it holds. If your search matches a breed or species by name, a Browse shortcut appears under the search box that takes you straight to that breed’s own pages.
Some slots in the feed are marked Sponsored. They are always labelled, so you can tell them apart from your results at a glance.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”On a computer, filters sit beside the results; on a phone, open the Filters panel above them. Depending on what your search found you can narrow by species, breed, sex, country, or keep only verified accounts. Each filter shows how many results it would keep, and your active filters appear as small tags you can remove one by one — or use Clear all.
Rows or cards
Section titled “Rows or cards”The Rows / Cards switch above the results changes the layout: cards for a photo grid, rows for a compact list. The choice is part of the page address, so a link you share shows the other person exactly the view — and the results — you were looking at.
If you searched near a place
Section titled “If you searched near a place”Coming from a page that knew your location, results carry a Near your location tag. Select the × on the tag to search without it.
No results?
Section titled “No results?”Check the spelling, or try a shorter piece of the name — a single word usually works better than a full phrase. The page also offers the animal directory, pet-care directory and breeder directory as starting points for browsing instead.
